WHAT IS HYPNOTHERAPY?

Hypnotherapy

Hypnotherapy is a great way to overcome any fears you may have, or obstacles that you have been facing. It can be used to treat anxiety, phobias, substance abuse, sexual dysfunction, undesirable spontaneous behaviours, and bad habits. Hypnotherapy can also be used to help improve sleep, learning disorders, communication, and relationship issues. It can also be used to help aid pain management and help resolve medical conditions such as IBS. Please see my Ted Talk here for more information.

    What is Hypnotherapy?

Hypnosis is a state of relaxation similar to that daydream state between waking and sleeping. Hypnotherapy is the use of this state of relaxation to access the subconscious to deal with personal problems and issues

What can Hypnotherapy help with?

  • Phobias

  • Weight Loss

  • Stop Smoking

  • Fear of Flying

  • Insomnia

  • Confidence Issues

  • Trauma

  • And more...

  • What happens in Hypnotherapy?

During hypnosis you are completely relaxed and I help you to create a state of focussed attention where you can bypass the analytical layer and reach a heightened state of suggestibility. At this stage positive suggestions can be absorbed. The state of hypnosis is induced using a gentle, spoken technique. At all times, you will remain in control and after the initial session, treatment will vary according to your needs as each client is treated uniquely.

    How does it work?

By working with the subconscious mind, together we are able to pin-point the issue that is causing the problem and from there we can make the necessary changes. Hypnotherapy is most successful for those people who are receptive to new experiences, who are willing to make discoveries about themselves, by challenging their understanding of themselves. It is an ideal and completely safe way to help treat many issues.
